About Us
Dance Inspiration is a children's dance school that teaches students from aged 2 upwards in the styles of ballet, tap, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, modern, acro and commercial. All classes are split into level/ability.
Classes are available for both recreation and for those that wish to compete, there is the opportunity to be invited onto the Elite team to compete throughout the UK.
Alongside regular classes, there are also exams on offer and lots of fun camps running throughout the school holidays.
Shannon Spurdens is teacher and owner of Dance Inspiration. Following her training at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester, Shannon obtained her Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduating, Shannon completed a contract as part of the dance company in various hotels throughout Europe. It was during this time she discovered a love of teaching and on her return to the UK, she created Dance Inspiration.
Shannon is an ISTD teacher and certified studio, LAMDA registered and Acrobatic Arts certified. As a school, we have undergone health and safety training, GDPR training, first aid and we are all DBS checked.
